BBO(β相偏硼酸钡晶体,β-BaB2O4)是由中国科学院物质结构研究首次发现和研制的新型紫外倍频晶体
BBO晶体的主要优点:
可实现相位匹配的波段范围宽(409.6—3500nm)
可透过波段范围宽(190—3500nm)
倍频转换效率高(相当于KDP晶体的6倍)
光学均匀性好
高损伤阈值(100ps脉宽的1064nm10GW/cm^2)
温度接收角宽(55℃左右)
BBO晶体的主要应用:
Nd:YAG和Nd:YLF激光的二,三,四,五倍频
染料激光的倍频,三倍频和混频
Ti:Sappire和Alexandrite激光的二,三,四倍频
光学参量放大器(OPA)与光学参量振荡器(OPO)
氩离子,红宝石和Cu蒸汽激光器的倍频
在全固态可调激光,超快脉冲激光,深紫外激光等高、精、尖激光技术领域的研发领域
